Project Summary:
This 5-star resort has been home to numerous projects for our team over the last ten years. In 2016 we completed a $124M renovation of the Phoenician Resort bringing life and vibrancy back to the resort. The 643 guestrooms received a complete revamp to update their mid-80s style to a more modern luxurious room. Once complete, the start of the public space and total rebuild of the spa began. The lobby was transformed into a fresh welcoming experience to meet all traveler’s needs. The new 3 level Spa houses 24 treatment rooms, a fitness center, a rooftop pool, retail shop and salon. During the 2018 construction of a new 2-story Athletic Club was added to the property. The athletic club added 4,600 sq. ft. fitness center, seven new tennis courts including a tournament court.
In 2023 we started a $20M renovation of the 100,000 SF of Ballroom and Meeting Space platform. The project was split over 2 years to align with the property's busy event schedule and involved strategically coordinated access double shift work.
In 2024 we started the construction of eight new single-story Villas consisting of 20 luxury suites. Each of the eight new structures have 2-3 bedroom units totaling 21,000 square feet. The suites will have a full-size kitchen in the main living room and a jacuzzi tub on the exterior patio. The adjacent public amenity area has a new community pool, spa/ jacuzzi, public restrooms and an outdoor bar.
